TRI-KES is a multi-state distributor of wall coverings who places a high emphasis on customer service. The site was a joint project with Matchbox Studio, a Dallas design firm. Matchbox came up with a well-thought, clean visual design. Busy Noggin took the Photoshop files and built the site to match the mockups.

The vision for the site is to serve as a tool for architects and interior designers to use in finding and specifying wall coverings. This site sports very sophisticated features which include:

  • Over 10,000 product that are managed by the company's internal ERP system and sychronized each night with the web site.
  • A robust custom product search with weighting of the results.
  • An enterprise-level content management system allowing the customer to manage content with non-technical personnel
  • Automatic scaling of product images in various contexts
  • Data-driven photo galleries

Products are filtered and only presented to the user if they are available in the user's region. Users can organize selections into projects, email samples to others and request physical samples of products.
